I love Chicago in the fall! The leaves are changing colors, and the weather is cooler, making it the perfect time to explore the city. And when is fall foliage in Chicago at its best? Well, that can depend on a few factors, including the weather and the timing of the leaves changing colors. But in general, peak fall foliage in Chicago is usually sometime in October.

So, where are the best places to see fall foliage near Chicago? Here are a few of my favorites:

-Lincoln Park: This large park is one of the best places to see fall foliage in Chicago. Take a stroll down one of the many trails or visit the zoo to see the animals in their natural habitats. You'll be amazed at the colors of the leaves as they change throughout the park.

-The Magnificent Mile: This popular shopping street is also a great place to see fall foliage. Stroll down Michigan Avenue and take in the sights of the city. They're stunning this time of year, just like paintings come to life.

-The Chicago River: See the fall foliage from a different perspective by taking a cruise down the river. You'll get to see all of the city's buildings and the changing leaves on the trees along the banks. It's a great way to experience autumn in Chicago.
