You can plan a day full of traditional activities or you can choose more contemporary events for your Easter weekend special. Of all the major attractions, here are five things to do in Chicago this Easter.

  • Many popular events are lined up on weekends leading up to Easter Sunday. Flashlight Egg Hunt is on the 16th of March, followed by Helicopter Easter Egg Drop at the Children’s Park Pavilion in Barrington on the 17th of March, you may want to be at Cosley Zoo in Wheaton on the 24th of March for special access after the usual hours when Easter Bunny will usher in a myriad of activities or you can be at Little Beans Café the same evening for special photos. The Sunday prior to Easter, The Paintbrush would be hosting an Easter Egg Dyeing Workshop. You can be a part of the Bunny Bonanza on the 28th of March at Welles Park.

  • On Good Friday, you can attend the 2nd Annual Great Chicago Egg Hunt at Maggie Daley Park. You can ride in our Chicago limo to 337 East Randolph Street by 10:30 a.m. There would be over twenty-five thousand eggs, all filled with candy, waiting for kids to explore in different groups according to their age. There would be three different hunting sessions with the last one scheduled to start at noon. The sparks-a-flying demonstrations are among the major attractions. There would be ample photo opportunities as well.
